7-16 analytical type questions
These r basically easy ones...we need not work out much..the answer will be in the question itself....we need to have concentration...don't waste time trying to solve doing all rough work...read the question first...
17
If pqrstuvw are numbered from22 - 33 not necessarily in that order....given few condition like
R is as much less than u as t is more than p etc etc...and many more conditions llike this...
One condition was q is in the middlle... find the orer of the letters starting from lowest to highest.
And in the choices there was only option which had q in the middle ..so guys don't waste time trying to arrange the letters jst check the conditions and look in the choices which satisfies
18 if 39X41=15 and 47X56=12 then 24X78=? (numbers not exactly same but model)it was tough
19 The ratio of the no of boys to teachers is 3:80.if 3/5 of the students r girls and the no of boys is 51 more then the no of girls find the no of teachers.( Not sure may be one more condition missing).
if DKML is coded as MNJK then FGHY is coded as ( letters r not same)..it was tough
one more on probality like a 6 letter is to formed insuch a way that no letter is repeated etc etc I don't remember exact question another one like rabbit gives tortise a start of 200 m .if 2 leaps of rabbit is equal to 3 leaps of tortise then find the no of steps taken by rabbit to catch up with tortise..(not exactly but model is similar)

The sharp decline in the mortality since 1941 shows that who argue that the introduction of new chemicals has caused serve health problems are mistaken from 1940-1979, the average life expectancy for the entire United States population increased from 63.6 to 73.6 years, and the total age adjusted death rate declined by forty five percent, including decline in every age, sex and racial group. There were also the years in which there was a dramatic increase in the use of new chemicals in this country. Clearly, then those modern aids to industry have no adverse effects on the general health of society. Which of the following is an assumption underlying the conclusion of the passage above?

A) The increase in life expectancy in the United States was paralleled by corresponding increases in other countries.
B) The growth in the average life expectancy in the United States cannot be attributed to any single factor, but is a general phenomenon.
C) The increase in life expectancy would not have been greater if there had not been an increase in the use of chemicals.
D) Growth in the use of chemicals was a crucial factor in the development of industry from 1940-1979

after two iterations.
Ans: very trivial, but you should know what bubble sort
does.

4. Bubble sort : how many swap operations has been done in the above
process?

5. What data structures you should use for dictionary searching and it
should be capable of doing spell check also ?
Ans: Hashing

6. Which is the best scheduling algo. (given five of them)
Ans.: Shortest Job First with Pre-emption

( Expression may not be the exact one but something similar to
the above )

11. & 12. Given a C code. What is the OUtput ?

Ans: Trivial, just we have to go through the code
carefully.
ONe of the questions is to reverse the given number.
ie. given 3276 the pgm. will output 6723

13. ONe questions on CO, which is slight a lenghty one and I couldnt'
recollect the same.

14. Given Three trees and ONe sequence of alphabets, we are suppose
to find which operation was performed on the tress to get
that result. ie. either preorder, postorder or inorder.
Ans: To that question, all preorder
15. When the fn. is called where the return add. is stored?

is filled with all zeros, the number of shifts gives you
the size of that operator.
